Happy New Year!!

A new year, a new semester, and new adventures!! Our first adventure started a couple days after we got back from Utah. We new for a while that our dishwasher was leaking and we were putting bowls underneath it to make sure the water didn't get on the floor because the floor right in front for the dishwasher was already ruined. Well after running the dishwasher for a couple days I noticed that the floor was buckling in places where it shouldn't. We were concerned but didn't think it was a huge deal until after running the dishwasher I saw that the bowls weren't catching the water anymore it was still leaking. Well come to find out the water was leaking where we couldn't see it and going under our brand new floors that we had just put in about 7 months prior. Kyle ripped up part of the floor thinking we could just replace it but after taking up some of the floor we quickly realized it was worse than we thought. Luckily I had the idea that we should see if our home owners insurance would cover it and sure enough they did. We got money to replace the floor and are in the process of the putting in a new floor. We decided to go with tile this time because tile won't warp when it gets water on it. It has been a sucky and long process but at least it didn't have to come out of our pocket!
Since finding out our kitchen was flooded nothing too exciting has happened. It has taken a little time to get back into routine with Kyle in school and me home with the boys all day but I think we are figuring it out. The next exciting event in our lives will be the little Mack head's 1st Birthday!!! Can't believe he will be 1!! We love our little Mackay!! I will talk all about him in another post!
That has been our new year so far, nothing too exciting, but when March hits it will be packed with some fun parties!!
