Halloween

Again I know this is way late but bare with me on these late blog posts because I am trying to catch up.

Halloween was fun this year. We had a hard time trying to decided what we wanted to be for halloween. First it was the ghostbusters, then it was Indiana Jones, but finally we decided on mario and luigi and East would be donkey kong. East had gotten a monkey costume for his birthday and it was nice and warm so we decided it would be perfect for him to be donkey kong to go along with mario and luigi.
All we did for Halloween was our ward Halloween party which was really fun. There was a chili cook off, which I got 2nd place for my chili, and a carnival, and then a trunk or treat. The trunk of treat started at about 6:30, 7 and 7 is right around Easts bed time so he did great but towards the middle of the trunk of treat you could tell he was getting very tired so we went back home and put him to bed.
He had a blast though at the party, he ate, played games, and got lots of candy which we are still trying to finish off. Overall it was a great Halloween and we had a wonderful time as a family and with our friends the Smith's.
