Yes Easton has now become of age where he can play sports! We are so excited!! The first one we could do was soccer and it was a blast!! Easton was freaking amazing at it. It took a couple games for him to really get in the groove of it and understand it but once he did he was unstoppable!! He scored and average of at least 3 goals a game!! He loved to get the ball and dribble down the field to shoot a goal. We learned a lot about Easton from watching him play soccer...he is a hustler, he is very competitive, and he loves to score!! It was so fun as a mom to cheer and watch on the sidelines. I understand now why my parents loved to watch me play sports, the pride you feel as a parent when you child is good at something is amazing! Kyle of course was the coach and did a great job! He loved it and East loved having his daddy there all the time to help. Our last game was the most exciting. Kyle's family came in town that weekend to visit and boy did they get a show. Not only did our boys team win but Easton scored 6 goals!! He was on fire! After the game we had a pizza party and Easton was given the lightening award for being the fastest! Proud mom right here!
And so our life of Saturday games begins and we as parents couldn't be more excited!! Kyle and I have been waiting for this since the day we found out we were pregnant. We can't wait to watch our children play sports throughout their life because we will be right by their side cheering them on!!
