Easton's Birthday was on a Monday this year so we celebrated as a family on his birthday and then had the party later that week (see next post). Easton has been asking for months now to get a blue bike so...he got a big blue trek bike for his birthday!! We gave it to him in the morning before Kyle left for school so that Kyle could see him react to it.
This is when we brought him into the kitchen, we told him to close his eyes!He was so excited! We wanted his new blue helmet on as well. Because it was so early in the morning we let him ride a few circles in the kitchen and then we went out later that day to ride it.
He wore his "birthday boy" shirt and was proud to show it off. I let him pick whatever he wanted for breakfast and so we had M'Queen pancakes. Then for lunch we went to Chick Fil A with a few friends. He was so excited to have friends at lunch for his birthday!!
As soon as Kyle got home we headed to a place called "pump it up" it's an indoor bounce house place. Easton had the time of his life (Mackay did too)! They ran around and jumped and played their little hearts out!
On this bounce house you had to climb and see how high you could put the flag...believe me it is a lot harder then it looks. East however would climb up to try and take the flags off!
That smile never left his face the whole time we were there!
We had Easton do the rock wall. He was scared at first but we made him keep trying and climbing and with a little encouragement he made it to the top!
Of course Mackay wanted a turn too so we let him try it out!
He just ended up hanging there but he loved it!
After the bounce house we went to Texas Road House for dinner because they had Mac N Cheese and that's what East wanted for dinner. Little did we know, kids eat free on monday nights so we were able to get each the boys their own meals! We told them it was his birthday so they had him ride the saddle as they sang to him. He thought it was awesome!
By the end of the dinner we were all wiped out! The boys were on the verge of just falling over because they were so tired. East had a great day and I was so happy to see him happy all day! We love our E man and can't believe he is 4!! He really is a sweet boy and we are so glad he came to our family!
