Visit to Washington 2013

This summer was an eventful one and it all started with a trip to Washington to visit Grandma Sue and Papa Scot! We had lots of fun there! I took the boys a week before Kyle flew out so that he had time to study before he took the first part of his boards. Then he came out and stayed a few days before we flew back home. We did lots of fun things while at my parents. The pictures really tell the whole story!
Of course the boys got spoiled with some new outfits. Here is East wearing one of his.

The weather was beautiful so we played outside a lot. The boys got these chairs from gma Sue and Papa Scot and they loved them.

We played so hard every day it wore the boys out. Here is East with his buzz and woddy blanket Gma Sue got him.

We went to the park at least once a day. Grandma and Papa had done a really good job scoping out all the good parks to go to. The boys loved playing outside pretty much all day. The weather was amazing so we could!

Gma and Papa I think enjoyed themselves quite a bit playing with the boys. They all became pretty good buddies!

Mackay holding Papa Scot's hand as we walked to the car.

East was so spoiled. Gma Sue loved to hold him and snuggle him whenever she could! East loved it.

Now of course our trip would not have been complete without a trip to chuckie cheez (I don't know how you spell it). East made sure we went there. This virtual roller coaster was their favorite game I am pretty sure they did it at least 10 times.

Like I said we played outside a lot, Papa Scot even found the boys a pool to play in with some squirt guns. Yeah they were living the dream as you can see!

Mack loved following Dogee around and sharing his food with him.

Aunt Kelsie came for a few days and Mackay just loved her. He walked with her and held her hand. It was pretty cute to see.

Daddy finally came and when he did we headed to The Island for some fun on the beach and of course to chow down on crab and shrimp!

Easton and Mackay love the beach and the water. One of our favorite things to do was look under rocks for tiny crabs. It took a lot of convincing but East finally help a crab in his hand. He was so scared at first buy by the end of the trip he was picking them up himself.

When we finally got him to hold the crab. A scared forced smile! He was a trooper!

The Island experience wouldn't be complete without a ride on the lawn mower. East loved it but Mack not so much.

My parents have a little bike they got for East up at The Island and he started riding without training wheels there. He would ride back and forth across the yard. He did so awesome!
Overall it was a really fun trip. The boys had a blast, played hard, and were sad to leave. They love visiting Grandma Sue and Papa Scot's house. We will be excited to go back again soon!

  1. Soren has that same octopus/fish shirt from carters and also my mom always takes Soren to Chuck E cheese, it's actually a lot nicer than I remembered. I must have gone to the ghetto one growing up. Looks like you guys are having a fun summer.
