Third years!

We can now say that we are third years in dental school!! Wow it feels so much better saying you are third year than second year. Maybe because we are over the hump and there is an end in sight. Either way it is exciting. Kyle gets to be in clinic now and practice pretty much as a dentist. In fact he did his first crown prep his first week in clinic and he a really good job. They say it is suppose to get easier from here so we will see. Kyle had  white coat ceremony a couple days before he started Jr year. It was fun to see him get "coated" I guess with a white coat and start the next step in becoming a dentist. At the ceremony I ran up front with the boys to take a picture and when they called Kyle's name it was quiet and then Easton yelled out "yeah Kyle, go daddy" and then as I was taking his picture everyone hear Easton say "cheese". Yeah it was way cute and Kyle was so proud of his boy! We celebrated that night by going out with some friends and their family that was in town. It was really fun to hang out and just enjoy out time before he started back up that next Monday.
Kyle takes the1st part of the boards in July so he has started studying for that. I will admit I hate when he has to get back into study mode but it is usually not too long and we always have break or something to look forward to and that helps make it a little easier and the time go by faster. I am really proud of Kyle and his hard work. I keep telling him it will all pay off as soon as he gets that first pay check. He is such a great dad and husband and even though there is lots to study he always makes time for his family!! So bring it on third year of Dental school the Bowens are ready for the challenge!!
