Disneyland!!

 Ok so life has settled down a little so I have a moment to blog. Before our big move to Omaha we decided to take a family trip to DISNEYLAND!!! Yep just the 4 of us. We tried to get other family and friends to come but no one was able to make it. So the four of us went ourselves and it turned out perfect! We were a little worried for the drive considering Mackay hated his carseat but we only ended up stopping like 3 times so that was good. We got to our hotel Saturday evening so we hit the pool to cool off and just hang out before we were off the DISNEYLAND on Sunday. We got up Sunday morning, got ready, and walked to Disneyland. Easton had no idea what he was in store for!! When we got there we headed strait for the buzz ride. Easton loved it!! Kyle and East went together while I stayed with Mackay then Easton and I went together. Eventually we took Mackay on it too, he was just sleeping the first time around. After the buzz ride we were off and going, Easton was so excited about everything and loved looking around. We hit up the little kid rides with dumbo, tea cups, peter pan, pinocchio, etc. We also hit up some of the bigger rides for Kyle and I but it just is not fun to go alone. So we mainly stuck to the rides that Easton could go on. We did try though to sneak him on at least 5 rides but they always caught us last second. East was just 4 inches too short to ride the big rides. We went back for naps in the afternoon then hit up disneyland again that evening. We went on the haunted mansion ride and pirates. Easton loved Pirates, we ended up going on that ride a few times while we were there. 

 We had 3 day park hopper passes so  Monday we went to California Adventure.  We started at the monsters inc. ride which East loved so we had to go on that a few times then worked our way over to the bugs life area. He loved the bugs life area and the rides. We even went to the bugs life 3D movie. He got a little scared in the movie but I was proud of him for sticking it out. Next we visited Mickey Mouse. East loved seeing the characters. In fact we got to see Mickey 3 times!! One of the disney movies Easton loves is The Little Mermaid, so of course we had to go on the new Little Mermaid ride. It was a cute ride and East loved it!! We were able to go on couple other bigger rides in California Adventure but after we left for naps we went back to Disneyland instead because there was more for East to go on. We rode the Train all around Disneyland which Easton again loved, we went on it a couple times for him.

 On Tuesday, our last day, we hit up Toon Town and thats where we stayed most of the day. Easton got to go in Mickey's house and see Mickey. We also found a little roller coaster they have in Toon town that I am pretty sure we went on about 20 times. Oh my goodness Easton loved going on that roller coaster. He would ask to go again and again. We pulled him away from it once so he could watch the parade but then went right back at it. Easton would have done awesome on the bigger rides, I don't think he would have even been scared. He just needed to be a few inches taller. Overall it turned out to be a really awesome, fun, family trip. Mackay did great and Easton was a pretty good listener for us. Even though Kyle and I did not get to go on the big rides we usually love, it was way more worth it to take Easton on rides and see his face light up with excitement. We cannot wait to take the kids back one day, but next time we will wait to go till they can go on the big rides with mom and dad.
