So basically you can just expect if there is a Holiday or Birthday or something special that happens in our lives I will probably blog about it a month later. So Halloween was so much fun this year. The boys got to dress up for 4 different parties/activities. We started out the Halloween festivities with our ward Chili Cook off!! I made chili, pie, and rolls for the party. They had a costume parade for the kids and it was the best one I have seen yet. Instead of walking around in the gym they had each child come up on the stage individually and show off their costume while everyone clapped and cheered for them. It made the kids feel so proud and each one loved it. Easton thought it was great to be center of attention of course!!
Our next activity was trick or treating at the Dental School with daddy. I dressed the boys in their costumes, Easton as Buzz and Mackay as Woody, and we went around the dental school with Kyle and got candy from the faculty. Then we went downstairs to eat lunch with Kyle and some friends. It was a really fun afternoon spent with Kyle.
Halloween day we went to the Gardens (a place just a 2 min walk from our village green community) and walked around to different rooms and did different activities and got treats!
Later that night we had dinner then went out trick or treating to village green. What a busy place it was!!! Apparently Village green is the place to been on Halloween! People come in from around the community because they know it will be some good trick or treating! It was fun to dress the boys up! East was buzz and Mack was woddy! We made at stop at some friends house before we went home and had some soup and hot chocolate to wrap up the evening! East did so good going from house to house, knocking on the doors and saying "trick or treat". Kyle and I were proud! It was a fun Halloween and it will be even more fun next year when Mackay will be walking from house to house with Easton!
