Daddy's little helper

Since we moved to Omaha we have done a lot to the house, a new kitchen floor, painting, and finishing the basement. Kyle has done most of this work himself too. I am very proud of him for it. His biggest project was finishing the basement. He framed it, put sheet rock up, painted, and put up molding. Basically it looks amazing. Anyways while he was in the midst of finishing the basement he always had a little shadow following him around. That shadow we like to call Easton. He wanted to help daddy do everything. Hammer, drill, measure, etc.. Kyle ended up getting a few new tools so he let Easton use his old ones. Easton loved helping his dad and felt like a real big boy doing it. When Kyle would be working on the basement at nights and it was time for East to go to bed he would say "no I helping daddy" or "no I stay and help daddy" how do you say no to that? So we let him stay up and help daddy. Every once in a while we would catch him down in the basement himself with a measuring tape pretending he was getting measurements of things. It was pretty cute. Kyle loved having Easton by his side and teaching him a few things. No matter what Kyle does he is always going to have little helpers from now on. Kyle sure does love his boys and can't wait to do more with them as they get older.

On a side note, the basement looks amazing!! Kyle did an awesome job down there and we are so happy to have it done. It only took 6 weeks but we got it done and are so happy to have some extra living space to spend time as a family!!
