All about Easton

I figured I better do an update on Easton since the baby will be here in a few weeks. We love Easton so much, he brings so much joy, happiness, and love to our home, oh and of course entertainment. He is getting to be such a big boy, growing up so fast. He is talking so well now, putting words together to make sentences. Something in the past 2 weeks has changed about Easton, Kyle and I do not know what it is but he just seems older. He is listening better, talking better like I said, and doing more big kid tasks. It is so fun for us to watch him do big boy things because he is so cute when he does them. Some of the things he likes to do are:
Push a chair over to the counter and use the microwave
He can finally open the fridge by himself, so he will go to the drawer get out a cup he wants then go to the fridge and take out the milk and hand it to me to pour for him
He can do big kid puzzles, the ones with all the cut out crazy pieces
He is very good at helping to clean up his mess if he is asked
He loves to sing to the radio and when he his watching tv or movies. While watching Disney Channel when his show comes on he will always yell for Kyle to come and dance with him to the opening song. He will say "daddy, dance!!"
He knows how to work our iphones perfectly without our help
He knows to hold our hand whenever we are in a parking lot or a place he is unfamiliar with
He loves to go to church, especially nursery. After the closing prayer he will quickly put his toys away in our bag and then run out of the chapel (without Kyle or I) so he can get to nursery as fast as he can
He is starting to ask if he can sit on the potty, he will sit and grunt like he is trying to go, one day something is going to come out and we will cheer for him so he will wan to do it again
He is also starting to ask us to change his bum after he poops. He will say "Change bum" it is pretty cute. We hope we can get him potty trained in the next few months.
He loves to read books before nap and bed. Sometimes Kyle and I will catch him reading a book himself and he will be saying the words to the book that he hears us read to him. It is one of the cutest things I have seen.

Kyle and I just can't believe how big he is getting!! We are so proud of our little boy and how much he is learning and how well he is developing. We pray everyday asking our Heavenly Father what we can do to be the best parents for him and how to help him develop his talents and grow in the gospel. We know he is going to love his little brother and be such a great helper for mommy. He is a very sweet boy and we just love him with all our heart!!
