The mariners pajamas we found him at my parent's stake clothing exchange!!

While we were at the Island he walked around in the sand and ate it. He loves to eat sand and I don't know why!

My mom gave him a sponge roller while in the tub and he loved it!! He would just play around with it in his mouth!! So cute! ( These top pictures I added on late but they were when we were in WA so I had to put them on.)

Well we went to Washington to visit my family and had a great time!! Kyle was able to get his teeth fixed and has a new handsome smile for dental school interviews. Easton and my mom became great buddies. When we got there we left straight for the Island to spend some time up there and had so much fun, especially Easton. He loved walking around outside in the grass and in the sand and on the deck, he just loves to be outside! When he was walking around in the sand he would take handfulls and shove them in his mouth. Yep our child loves to eat sand! While at the Island Easton managed to get a bloody nose, a black eye, and a bruised up forehead. I am telling you this whole walking thing dangerous. He got the bloody nose from tripping and falling forward and landing face first on a toy wagon. Then the black eye was from leaning forward trying to catch himself on the screen door when the screen door wasn't there the one time and face planted on the deck. The banged up forehead is just from still trying to get his balance better as he walks in shoes and new terrain.

We went on the boat with my dad and Easton just loved it. He sat in the passengers chair all by himself while we drove over to get the crab pots. He loves being on the water. When we got to the crap pots I took out a crab and showed it to Easton. He wanted to touch it but then he might of had a missing finger. The weather was perfect while we were there. Kyle and I enjoyed just sitting on the deck watching the water and doing nothing!! Kyle says that is what a real vacation is!

I had to opportunity to go scuba diving with my dad while we were there. It wasn't the best conditions but it was so fun and I want to do it again. We were sad when we had to go back to Wenatchee and leave the Island but Kyle needed to get his dental work finished that Friday so we headed back. My Parent's house was fun. Easton loves Dogee still and figured out how to go in and out of the doggy door. It was funny because one minute we would hear East playing in the kitchen then the next it would be silent and we could hear a faint voice outside on the deck and there would be Easton walking around until he wanted to come back it. I got scared a few times he went out there because the deck has stairs to the yard and we did not have them blocked off the first couple times Easton crawled out the doggy door, so when I could not find him and realized he was outside I would run and grab him. After about the second time of that we blocked off the deck stairs.

Overall it was a great vacation. Ashley and Todd were able to come up and hang out for a day at my parent's house since they are moving to Memphis in like a week or two. So it was fun to see them. While they were there we went to a ward party with my parents, which turned out to be very entertaining as Kyle and Brian (A dentist at my moms office) proceided to soak my mother by dumping water on her and squirting her with squirt guns. It was pretty funny. My mom had a squirt gun too but he aim was a little off (lol), she is such a great sport. It was good times. We also went shopping and got East some winter clothes since I didn't have any for him. Most of the clothes we got were at the Stake clothing exchange. If I am ever on the activities committee for church I am going to make sure we do one!! It is a great way to help people who need clothes. We had a good time in Washington and are excited to visit again.
I am pretty sure my mom had a great time with Easton too. She took care of him for us by bathing him, putting him down for naps and bed, getting him dressed, and watching him for us when we went out. It was wonderful to have help, and it made me realize one of the great things about living close to family. The problem is we do not know where we will end up but if it is close to family I would be just fine with that!
