We went to "the island" as my family would call it, this summer in July. My family has beach front property up in the San Juan Islands in the Puget Sound (That's WA Seattle area, just in case you are not familiar with it). We spent a week with my family and had a blast! Easton loved it because he got to be outside all day every day for a week. As soon as his woke up in the mornings the first thing he would say is "outside?" and out we would go. It was nice to get away and enjoy fresh crab and shrimp oh and the bakery up there. This is a place my family has been vacationing at since I can remember. It is a special place with many fun memories. It is fun to bring Kyle and Easton there to share with them something that I love and my family loves and have them be a part of that. Our property is right on the the water with the most beautiful view. Easton loved to throw rocks in the water and play with De-oh-gee (my parents dog). He loved running around and having the freedom to do pretty much what he wanted. He would lay in the sand, put sand on his body and head, and licked the sand. He is a crazy boy and definitely almost 2. It was great to spend time with my family since we don't get to see them very often. Going to the island is a trip that we look forward to every year.
